Tanzania

The Serengeti is a name known worldwide for the extraordinary wildebeest migration and the amazing wildlife sightings in the Ngorongoro Crater. These areas and their surroundings are very well-known safari destinations. One caveat to these experiences is that unless you are travelling in the low season, it can get very busy with tourists.
We tend to focus more on areas off the busy tourist route, opting instead to promote visiting places like Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve), Ruaha N.P, Katavi and the Mahale Mountains on Lake Tanganyika.
These huge and wild parks have very little tourist activity compared with the parks in the North. They offer very diverse experiences and landscapes, even providing opportunities for chimpanzee trekking in the Mahale region.
While not necessarily suitable for the first-time safari traveller, we believe the Tanzania “Southern Circuit” is a must-visit destination for any safari enthusiast.
